I loved the running technique workshops. Dave was a great coach and communicated very well. I’ve been trying to put into practice what he taught us this week. The coastal runs were just gorgeous. The video or our running gait was really helpful and I look forward to seeing theafterrunning video to check whether I’ve improved in my technique.
I really enjoyed the weekend! Even though I was a complete beginner I was inspired by the yoga classes – since I got back I’ve done 30 mins of yoga every day so far! A highlight of the weekend!
That’s me, and I’m very excited to be your teacher for the weekend! I’ll share with you as much as I can over the long-weekend, in an easy to absorb way. I’ll guide you through a step by step approach to developing a home yoga routine, for a morning/ pre-run and an evening/ post-run practice. You’ll come away feeling refreshed and energised, confident and motivated!
And this is Dave, my favourite running coach. I’ve met and worked with a few coaches and Dave is by far the most knowledgeable and approachable coach that I know. His love of trail running is infectious! You’ll learn heaps from him, as he absolutely loves to teach what he knows and is committed to helping every runner he meets find their optimal technique and enjoy injury-free running for life.

The running technique sessions and the runs were fabulous, great locations… The yoga sessions were fabulous and the link with running, strength and stretching flowed really well.
Payment Terms & Conditions: Full payment must be made no later than 8 weeks before the start of the retreat. If your payment is not received 8 weeks prior, your place will be offered to another. In the event you need to cancel: 60 days or more prior to the retreat: Your entire payment will be refunded, less £150. 59-30 days prior to the retreat: 50% of payments are refundable, less £150. 29 days or less prior to the retreat: Payments are not refundable.
Of course! You are more than welcome to make a solo trip, in fact many of our guests do. If you’re happy to share a twin room, please select this when booking, otherwise we have a single supplement option.
All rooms are luxuriously designed & have ensuite or private bathroom. Each room can be twin or double setup. Single rooms are occasionally available with a single suppliment.
Our retreat for the weekend is close to Perranporth situated in the peaceful countryside. You'll receive the full address after booking.
The closest airport is Newquay and the nearest train station is Truro. A taxi from either of these is around 20 minutes. You’ll receive the full address and directions after booking.
Not at all, it will be perfect for you! The main aim of this retreat is to improve running technique, it is not a training camp. The focus is on the workshops, where we practise drills, analysis our current form and what we can do to improve it. There is the opportunity to put it into practise and enjoy the scenery on a led beach and coastal run. We usually do around 5 km.
Sure! You can go for another run in the afternoon if you so desire!
