This retreat is exceptional! Helen's experience and guidance really illuminates where you need to improve and how best to do that through proper alignment, technique and yoga. The retreat setting is idyllic with beautiful scenic runs to enjoy. The weekend is suitable for runners and yogis of all abilities.

For those of you who don’t know me yet, I’ve been teaching yoga for 10 years and practising for nearly 20. I’m a Senior Teacher Yoga, Running Coach, Yoga for Athletes Coach and Yoga Medicine Teacher.
I used to be a competitive swimmer but have always loved to run. Although I no longer race, I live on the Cornwall coast and find joy in running the coastal paths!
I focus on teaching yoga and natural running technique, guiding runners of all levels to find more joy in the process of running, by making it easier and injury free.
I’ve worked with 1000s of runners through my classes, retreats and online programs, helping them recover from injury, improve posture, increase strength mobility and flexibility, and reach their potential through yoga.
We travelled all the way from The Netherlands for this retreat, but it was worth every kilometer. Helen is the nicest and most encouraging yoga teacher you could wish for.

Of course! Many of our guests come on their own and have an incredible time with like-minded people. Either treat yourself to a private room, or I will partner you up with another guest of the same sex and similar age. You are also welcome to find a room mate by communicating inside the FaceBook group.
All rooms are luxuriously designed, have ensuite bathrooms and stunning countryside views. Each room can be Twin or Double bed setup.
Our retreat for the weekend is Combe Grove, on the outskirts of Bath and only a 10 minute taxi ride from Bath Spa Station. I’ll send you the address and some more options to find your way there after booking.
You may check in to the Hotel from 9am on Friday 3rd, your room will be available from 3pm with the Spa & grounds open to you all day. We'll meet for an introduction to the retreat at 5pm.
Check out is at 12pm on the Monday allowing for a leisurely morning yoga practice & breakfast.
Not at all, it will be perfect for you! The main aim of this retreat is to improve running technique, it is not a training camp. The focus is on the workshops, where we practise drills, analyse current form and what we can do to improve it. There is the opportunity to put it into practise and enjoy the scenery on a led woodland trail run, so we recommend that you are comfortable running 5 km distance, at any speed!
Sure! There is also a 10k option on the Bath Skyline if you wish to go for another run in the afternoon, instead of/ before relaxing in the spa!

Thank you for a brilliant weekend with great teaching, lovely people and delicious food! Having not done much yoga before, Helen was great at explaining what we were doing and why, and adjusting my position where necessary. I really enjoyed the yoga and hope to continue to practice yoga to complement my running. It was also great to learn more about ‘how’ we should be running, and I will certainly try to implement this new and improved style!
